Suntech's Photovoltaic (PV) Modules deliver the most reliable solar power for on-grid and off-grid residential and commercial systems. Our photovoltaic modules are built with Suntech's highly regulated manufacturing standards and latest PV technology. Suntech's Monocrystalline PV Modules are designed to deliver the highest efficiency, while our Polycrystalline PV Modules are built to deliver the most cost effective performance.
Suntech's MSK Solar Design LineTM of products offers superior aesthetics compared to standard PV modules and can be used to create buildings that are sustainable, functional and visually stunning. MSK is the name of the Japanese specialist in Solar Design, with experience in solar dating back to 1981, that Suntech acquired in 2006.
The majority of Suntech's MSK Solar Design LineTM products are Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) modules. These BIPV modules function, not as an add-on, but rather, as an integral part of the building skin. They can be used just like standard building materials, but with the added value of generating electricity directly from sunlight. BIPV modules provide greatly improved aesthetics and allow savings over traditional building materials and installation.
Made from monocrystalline silicon substrate from a single large crystal, Suntech's Monocrystalline PV Modules offer a superior conversion rate in capturing the energy from the sun and converting it into electricity. This gives Suntech Monocrystalline Modules outstanding low light performance.
Manufactured from polycrystalline cast blocks of silicon, each cell contains many small crystals. Polycrystalline cells look somewhat like shattered glass and tend to be less expensive and only slightly less efficient per cell area compared to Monocrystalline Modules. Suntech's Polycrystalline PV Modules are ideal for large-scale deployment in the most challenging conditions of utility, residential and commercial installations.
